i am so upset about occupy san antonio, i have been reading the readers comments and am shocked. I am a 63 year old female, retired from the U>S> Army, as a child my uncles were my child care providers and they took me everywhere with them. I attended marches on proverty in Wash D.C. black panther meeting, muslim Gatherings and nemerous social concious gatherings. I raided 5 children 3 of them currently in the armed services i attended occupy san antonio downtown and was imressed by these young people and their committment. in the 60’s and 70’s young people were making their opinions known and older folk were discussing how they would not amount to anything all this marching and blasting the government, do you realize you are either the children of or those children yourselves. I raised my children to speak out and take part in the direction this government is going and now you want to make these young folks out to be troublemakers. They are speaking out in relation to the world they are going to inherit. With mass medial and political retorict 24 hours a day, some of us have become lazy. On top of everything we are believing what ever we hear on news and talk shows, thant good these occupiers are stabnding up to big corporate and dispelling the lies we are being fed. .
