CAPITALISM IS OVER! IF YOU WANT IT: SUMMER OF TOUGH LOVE LAUNCH

Our launch kicked off with Bay Area writers Jenny Bitner, Hugh Behm-Steinberg, Myron Michael, and Josh Wilson, who responded to capitalism through their poetry and prose in the heart of San Francisco’s shopping district, Union Square (by the tower).
Jenny Bitner is a writer, painter and mother who has been known to dabble in capitalism, but in her heart is still holding out for something better. Her website is www.jennyart.com.
Hugh Behm-Steinberg is the author of Shy Green Fields and Sorcery. He teaches in the writing programs at CCA where edits the journal eleven eleven.
Josh Wilson is a writer, editor, bicyclist and social entrepreneur living in San Francisco. He is the founder of The Fabulist (www.the-fabulist.org), a new home for fables, yarns and diverse tales; an emeritus DJ and director at KUSF-FM; and a recipient of the Society of Professional Journalists’ Excellence in Journalism Award.
Proprietor of Rondeau Records Myron Michael is a recording artist and writing instructor. He is the founder of Move Or Die and lives in the Bay Area where he curates HELIOTROPE a monthly reading series.
